Design and planning
The first weeks are about your site and your goals. We visit, survey, draw concepts and refine with 3D views. Decisions about shape, depth, features, finishes and equipment are made here.
Taking time at this stage reduces changes later.
Permits and preparation
Plans go to the permitting authority, and the site is prepared for access. Utilities are located and protection is placed around trees and landscaping.
Review times vary, and we keep you informed.
Layout and excavation
The pool is marked on the ground, and you confirm shape and position. Excavation follows, with care for soil, rock and drainage. This stage is loud and dusty, and the yard changes dramatically.
Rock can add time and cost, and we explain what we find.
Steel and plumbing
Reinforcing steel is tied, rough plumbing and electrical are installed and inspections are scheduled. This is the stage most people forget, and the one that determines how the pool performs for decades.
We photograph everything before it is covered.
Shell, tile and coping
The shell is formed and placed, cured and inspected. Tile and coping follow, and the pool begins to look like itself. Decisions about grout, edges and details are final here.
Curing times affect the schedule.
Deck, finish and start-up
Decking, landscape elements and lighting are installed. The interior finish goes in and the pool is filled with water and balanced. We then start up the equipment, test every feature and walk you through the controls.
A care plan and orientation make the first swim a pleasure.
Spend time on design, stay in contact during construction and ask questions at every stage.
