Tile and coping frame the pool. When tile cracks, falls off or stains, and when coping loosens or shifts, the edge looks tired and water can find its way behind the surface. Repairs are easier and cheaper when they are done early.
We inspect the waterline, the coping, the bond beam and the deck joint, then plan the repair. Loose coping is lifted, the bed is rebuilt and stones are reset level. Tile is removed where needed, the surface is prepared and new tile is set and grouted. Where the old tile is no longer made, we find a close match or suggest a fresh band. We take photos before and after, mark areas of concern and explain any related issues such as deck movement or drainage problems that may be contributing. A repair that addresses the cause lasts longer and keeps the edge looking crisp.

Coping needs a solid bed and correct joints. We rebuild and reset it so it stays level and safe underfoot.
Calcium and stains can be removed in many cases, and tile can be restored. If not, we replace it.
